The Karachi Port handled 75,749 tonnes of cargo including 55,656 tonnes import and 20,093 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Monday. The cargo comprised of 36,630 tonnes dry cargo including 23,650 tonnes general cargo; 2,276 tonnes fertilisers; 7,910 tonnes coal; 2,794 tonnes R/Phos and 39,119 tonnes oil/liquid cargo. Three ships namely Global Prince, 1st and Kota Teraju sailed out to sea during the report period.

Two vessels viz Rio Rubio and Ilda are currently at the berths.

Four ships namely Iron Butterfly, Aviora, Bunga Teresak and Corinthiakos expected to sail on Monday, while another ship S. Cabato is expected to sail on Tuesday.

Four vessels viz Sun Diamond, Al Maqwa, Apl Pusan and MT Johar due to arrive on Monday, while six ships namely Thor Captain, Asian Trader, Oranje, Tai He, Madre and Sinar Bontang are due to arrive on Tuesday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 63,232 tonnes comprising 51,009 tonnes import and 12,223 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 1,669 containers, was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Monday.

The cargo comprised of 3,066 tonnes edible oil; 8,960 tonnes diesel oil; 579 tonnes wheat; 22,254 tonnes iron ore and 28,373 tonnes containerised cargo.

Four ships namely Clipper Skagen, MV Taiyoh-II, Venessa and MV Anjum sailed out to sea during last 24 hours, while another ship CV P&O Nedlloyd Colombo is expected to sail on Monday.

A total of four vessels viz MT Chemstar Brave, E. Trader, Bum Mi and Maersk Alaska are currently at the outer anchorage.

Container vessel Maersk Alaska and oil tanker Bum Mi due to take berths on Monday.
